It's day four of Metformin! Endo said I should take the 500mg for a few days before bumping up to 1000mg. I think tomorrow will be the big day! For the first time ever (including last time I took Met), I will be on a big girl dose. So far it's been going pretty well except for the bloating and a few lapses* in judgment that caused some... hmm.. how shall I saw this politely.... digestive system angst. I'm on the extended release too, so I hope that helps.
Oh, and hey... it's raining. Didn't know if you'd noticed.**

*For those of you who don't know - eating sugar with Met is like feeding cottage cheese to a lactose intolerant person. (which I also am. sigh)
