Yes, I'm a book nerd, but I NEED to understand something before I can fully accept it. Thank you so much by the way for all your wonderful responses! Now what I need help with is to understand how this all works. My wonderful cousin told me about that bizarre two week thing, but the u/s tech made me show her the exact date I thought I conceived and told me that had to be wrong. So I assumed she was going on actual date. Was I wrong in that? Was she just unclear? And is there anyone on this internet who can explain gestational dating to me and why/how they do it exactly? Or can you point me to a site that does? And when I look at the baby development books, should I be looking at 5 weeks or 7 weeks? Do they all go by the Doctor system? AAAARGH confusion.
