I'm fascinated by the growing pooch just beneath my belly button and so is Hub. I can't believe I now have to wear pants 3 sizes larger than my usual just to fit that and the bloat comfortably. (The bloat slows down someday right? Right??)
In fact, last night as I stumbled my toasting butt out the hall to turn up the a/c, I ran into Hub. I was in my night shirt and had noticed that my pooch was pretty noticeable. It seems to grow daily, and Hub hadn't been around much. I said, "Wanna see the kid?" He just looked perplexed. I think he thought I was doing my sleep walking/talking thing again, so I lifted my shirt and patted where my uterus is. His response was the most adorable thing I could have hoped for. He made the squealy "aw" sound we usually only associate with women doting on cute baby animals and patted it. Then he knelt down, kissed it and said, "Hi baby!"
