E's GG on my side came to the hospital to see me when I was in labor. She's the one who made me sob actual tears when she hugged me after delivery. She never got to see E that day because he got out of transition so late. She saw him today for the first time. It was lovely.
I got great advice from her. When discussing all of our parenting options/dilemmas she said, "Honey, what does your heart tell you to do? Use your head of course, but follow your heart."
