- E doesn't want to go to bed at his normal time anymore. He often stays up until 10pm whether it be because he's crying in his crib, and it's hard enough that we go in every so often to calm him or because we just give up and he plays forever. Should we just enforce a bed time?
- If we enforce a bed time, should we use Ferberizing or what works best for really stubborn, hard criers? He's the kind that can cry for 2 hours (as he did when he was really upset at Urgent Care) and make himself vomit. What has worked for parents of with little ones like that?
- Isn't it normal that he throws some of the food he is trying to eat as "finger foods?" He still eats some too. Is he done when he starts throwing all of it? Or should we start hand feeding him more? (Daycare lady is confusing me a little with this one. I thought we were on the right path, but I don't know.) Feeding tips welcome!!!
- He still refuses sippy cups but will take a bottle or a cup itself. Problem is, daycare doesn't give him water if he won't drink out of a sippy. Sigh. There are lots of positives but sometimes I really really bemoan the lack of making all the decisions ourselves. If he drinks fine out of a cup/straw, I wish we didn't even have to worry about sippies.
- Any tips on sippies/drinking? He really likes his bottle AM and PM. My family always let that go on for as long as the baby wanted it (usually no later than 18 mos or so). Thoughts on this? I know Breast Feeding is different, but that is encouraged as long as both desire it. Is a bottle considered not?
- He's loving playing so much and is starting to act more "hyper." Thoughts on calming him for bedtime? Baths don't work. Milk doesn't work. Reading sometimes does.
