Farah was near my area, so I met up with her and her family briefly this evening. Can I just say that her boys are absolutely beautiful? They broke my heart with their sweetness and little tiny voices. (OK, so the armadillos is gruff, but it's still tiny!) E was so delighted to see big boys and wanted to play with them immediately. Too bad we can't get around more.
It was so nice to be physically with one of my dear blog friends and get a big hug. I miss you all so much. The cutest and saddest moment of the night was when I was tickling MT. E was on a bed with the armadillo, and I wasn't looking at him closely (though Farah and her hubby - who is also adorable - were). I heard them start to exclaim something and a little squeak from E. There were no distinct thoughts in my head. Just some instinct caused me to whirl around and put my arms out only to catch a desperate E as he flung himself headfirst from the bed toward me and cried. I don't know if he thought I was hurting MT or MT was hurting me, but he was very distraught. Such a sensitive soul is my sweetest.
Not to worry though. A little bit more playing with the big boys fixed things quite quickly. Thanks Farah. Miss you much.
