It's funny. I had my regular thyroid ultrasound today, and the machines, techs and facility only brought back warm, happy memories of seeing my sweetest. Only when I consciously thought about it did I realize that there were no negative associations from my many many acquaintances with the wand for follicle screenings, womb lining checks and no baby verifications.
My life has changed so much since the bitter IF days. That's one of our reasons for not having another biological child. I like the change. And now I at least get it a little why people think you should, "Just get over it." It's easier to think that way when you are in a happy place in life. I will never forget where I've been though.
